Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy has two parts: (A) refunds for Alaminify subscription fees paid by merchants, and (B) guidance for storefront refunds issued by merchants to their end-customers.

A. Alaminify subscription refunds (merchants)

Free plan

The Free plan involves no payment, so no refund applies.

Paid plans — monthly

  • You may cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Monthly fees are non-refundable for the current period after a successful charge.

Paid plans — annual

  • 14-day refund window: If you cancel within 14 days of the initial annual charge and have not materially used the Service, you may request a full refund.
  • After 14 days, annual fees are non-refundable, but you keep access until the end of the period.

Exceptions — full refund

  • Duplicate or accidental charges
  • Charges after a verified cancellation
  • Extended outage materially affecting your business (case-by-case)

How to request a refund

Email shapno.buz@gmail.com from your account email with: business name, invoice/transaction ID, and reason. We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.

Add-on usage (AI, SMS, courier surcharges)

Pay-as-you-go usage already consumed (AI tokens, SMS sent, courier booking fees, etc.) is non-refundable.

Account suspension or termination for breach

If your account is terminated for violating our Terms, prepaid fees are non-refundable.

B. Storefront refunds (end-customers)

Each merchant on Alaminify operates an independent business and sets their own refund and return policy. Alaminify does not sell goods directly to end-customers and is not the seller of record.

If you bought a product from a storefront powered by Alaminify and want a refund or return:

  • Contact the merchant directly using the contact information shown on the storefront.
  • The merchant's published refund policy applies to your order.
  • Alaminify can facilitate communication, but refund decisions and payments are made by the merchant.

Recommended baseline for merchants

We recommend merchants publish a clear policy covering at least: return window, condition of goods, who pays return shipping, and how long refunds take. You can configure your policy in Storefront → Pages.

Chargebacks & payment disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us (for subscription fees) or the merchant (for storefront orders) may result in account suspension and recovery of disputed amounts plus any chargeback fees.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka.
